Ottawa Citizen – An unconventional life in Hintonburg

Brigil’s The Dale stands out for a variety of reasons including how luxurious it is, how many inclusions it comes with and how many square feet of amenities it holds — over 16,000 square feet combined between the development’s two towers.

Since the resounding success of the first tower’s launch, Brigil is proud to announce the launch of Tower 2 this summer.

“When it comes to rental living, The Dale has everything you’re looking for,” says Jessy Desjardins, Brigil’s vice-president of development and design, regarding the project in the trendy neighbourhood of Hintonburg.

“Luxurious but also convenient, with multiple inclusions and in a highly sought-after location, The Dale offers different styles of suites that are light-filled and designed to reflect today’s contemporary sensibilities with unparalleled panoramic river views.”

Built to the highest industry standards with timeless materials that never go out of style, The Dale’s units feature upscale light fixtures, elegant glass showers and trendsetting backsplashes. Five-star living at its best, the suites also come with superior soundproofing, multi-layered wood flooring, ceramic floors in the washrooms, quartz countertops, panoramic windows and custom roller shades.

A secured entrance with several elevators as well as storage lockers and bicycle storage are also available, as is an electric vehicle charging station. Residents can also rent an electric car via the Kite Mobility app.

Located at 99 and 121 Parkdale Ave., both towers are equipped with a lengthy list of amenities that includes a co-working space, media room, workshop area, business centre and a communal kitchen. 99 Parkdale features a panoramic lounge with a rooftop terrace, while 121 Parkdale offers a café bistro called The Drip House, a social lounge, gym, yoga room, and a rooftop terrace with several barbecues and an exterior swimming pool.

The rooftop terrace is one of the best spots to relax, unwind and take in the view during the warmer months.

Inclusions such as stainless-steel appliances (a dishwasher, fridge and stove), an in-suite washer and dryer, cable, high speed internet, heating, hot water and air conditioning are also part of the all-inclusive package.

Both towers feature penthouse collections with suites at the very top of the towers.

99 Parkdale is 29 storeys high and houses 237 high-end units while 121 Parkdale has 33 storeys and 283 units.

Surrounded by both Wellington West and Westboro neighbourhoods, The Dale is within walking distance of Hintonburg’s busy taverns, gastropubs, haute culinary experiences and cosy coffee shops as well as its multiple art galleries.

Just seven minutes away from Parliament Hill by car, it’s ideally located for anyone working in the federal government.
