$15 000 donation to Centraide Outaouais

During the latest fundraising cocktail organized by Centraide at the Hilton Lac-Leamy, attended by Mr. Andrew Molson and over a hundred guests, Jessy Desjardins, one of the sons of Brigil’s founding president, presented a $15,000 cheque on behalf of his parents, Gilles and Céline Desjardins, in support of the Centraide Outaouais 2016 campaign.

At the cheque presentation to the Centraide Executive Director, Jessy Desjardins said: “My parents have always reminded us that for a region to thrive, everyone must thrive.”

This donation brings the total raised through the “Gratton Cow” initiative to $30,000, celebrating Brigil’s 30 years in business. The “Gratton Cow” is a small papier-mâché cow that has been traveling around the region since last October, collecting funds for Centraide Outaouais.

With this contribution, Brigil’s total donations to Centraide now amount to nearly $60,000.
