In the presence of Gatineau Mayor Maxime Pedneaud-Jobin, Louise Boudrias (Councillor for Parc-de-la-Montagne–Saint-Raymond), Frédéric Lewis (Brigil CEO), Gilles Desjardins (President of Groupe Brigil), along with many other notable figures and media representatives, Brigil proudly unveiled its new community, Le Columbia, an $85 million project that highlights one of Gatineau’s architectural gems: the historic Columbia Farm.

Honoring the origins of the Hull Township, the historic Columbia Farm site features a Georgian-style farmhouse built in 1837. Brigil will preserve this landmark, a reminder of the entrepreneurial spirit of Philemon Wright, Gatineau’s founder.

Building the Future Inspired by the Past
The project includes a 20-story tower designed to respect the architectural heritage of Columbia Farm while integrating modern urban functionalities centered around pedestrian-friendly living.
Located at 400 St-Joseph, behind the historic farmhouse, the development is within walking distance of the Galeries de Hull, grocery stores, pharmacies, Hull Hospital, cafés, banks, restaurants, shops, and the Casino Lac Leamy. Le Columbia will feature:
