BRIGIL donates $45,000 to Gatineau's Green Fund

Gilles Desjardins wishes to continue doing his part to support environmental stewardship in Gatineau.

“I know that the administration and our elected officials manage the Green Fund responsibly. That is why it is a pleasure for me to contribute to its long-term sustainability,” says Gilles Desjardins.

BRIGIL makes it a priority to preserve as many green spaces and natural areas as possible in all of the projects it undertakes.

“From the very beginning, we have believed in protecting the environment. That is why we have donated and planted thousands of trees in several real estate projects and parks, whether in the Boucher Forest or at Domaine du Vieux-Port, where we protected 70% of the land used to build Phase III,” recalls Gilles Desjardins.

In February 2010, Brigil made a $35,000 donation to the City of Gatineau as part of its tree-planting program. In collaboration with the City, Brigil has planted more than 100,000 trees, developed green corridors in urban areas, and protected wetlands in various communities.
